Schools

We can offer the following as school sessions delivered by our highly experienced practitioners:

 

For KS1 and 2 groups:

Tudor:

a presentation in Tudor costume which can be adapted to a particular theme as requested. The children can have the opportunity for an audience with a Tudor woman who can be a real historical character or a representative courtier.

WWII:

a presentation in costume by one or two of our team exploring different themes such as make do and mend, rationing, the role of women in WWII etc as requested

Victorian:

a presentation in costume by one or two of our team which can illustrate different themes as requested.

Titanic:

a presentation in costume by one or two of our team telling the stories of the Titanic and exploring the impact of the disaster on real individuals and local families.

 

 

For KS3

We can offer a cross- curricular experience which can last from a two hour session to a whole school day with a drama presentation, discussions, role play and workshops. Themes include:

What does it mean to be a Romany? This can feed into drama and citizenship and can include consideration of topics such as minorities, bullying and social attitudes.

The Suffragettes

This covers topics such as history, gender, politics, citizenship and drama.

 

 

Special Educational Needs Sessions:

We have extensive experience of developing and delivering bespoke sessions for SEN schools and are happy to discuss your requirements and come up with a session to suit your children.


In addition we are able to offer bespoke school sessions - contact us to discuss your needs. Recent bespoke education packages include a Tudor Lady Lister and Belle from A Christmas Carol
