Making do and mending - a theatrical talk for the ladies of Heathuns WI. We have a continuing programme of theatrical talks throughout Hampshire all year visiting WIs and local social groups, as well as care homes and centres for older people.

Our portolio includes Titanic actors at the opening of the Sea City Museum. We have delivered regular story-telling sessions at Winchester City Mill and Marwell Zoo, the Red House Museum and Rockborne Roman Villa. We have been at Manor Farm Country Park for a Family Mystery Trail, and again for Wartime Make do and Mend weekends.

We have appeared at The Victorian Festival of Christmas at The Portsmouth Dockyard with strange local tales and folk-cures and at The Blackout Party, Milestones Museum, Basingstoke with an information stall with tips and hints to beat those rationing blues!

Our Tudor women have been featured at The Vyne and the Winchester City Mill, both National Trust, and we have appeared at the Heritage Open Days in Winchester.

Our suffragette two-hander was first performed at the theatre in the Hampshire Records Office.

We regularly deliver reminiscence sessions for older people throughout Hampshire and Surrey and are working with Whitchurch Silk Mill on a Jubilee project

For 2021 to 2022 we have been Associate Artists for Proteus Theatre Company through their Arts Council England funded programme

Our Heritage story-telling walks have been commissioned by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for their historic Top of Town

“A wonderfully successful and much enjoyed evening! I think it must have been obvious how much our audience appreciated your show and how you let us join in so much" Julia from WARG
