Jane and Elizabeth are actor/historians with years of experience gained in such venues as The Tower of London, Basing House, Hampton Court, Milestones Museum, Winchester City Mill and many more.

Jane has also worked for Past Pleasures and previously ran a Heritage Interpetation Team in a major museum site. Elizabeth is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and member of the Royal Historical Society

Here's a testimonial from the National Trust:

Pedlars and Petticoats provide a uniquely professional yet enthusiastic and friendly approach to historic interpretation.

At Winchester City Mill they have provided a variety of costumed storytelling themes ranging from traditional folk tales through to popular myths and ghost stories that they have tailored to work with the specific history of this National Trust property. The service they provide is not only entertaining but also, through their use of period handling objects, both interactive and informative and works very well as either a stand alone visitor event or as part of a wider theme.

We can provide actors for events such as the recent opening of the SeaCity Museum in Southampton where we supplied "characters from The Titanic"
